Public Citizen consumer group releases New Jersey questionable doctors database
According to information released by the Public Citizen consumer group, about 1,105 New Jersey physicians that were disciplined by the New Jersey medical board for incompetence, misprescribing drug, sexual misconduct, criminal convictions, ethical lapses, and other offenses. Amongst these doctors, many of them were never required to stop practicing, even for a short period of time. The group has now allowed New Jersey residents to look up the “Questionable Doctors” database so that residents can better ensure avoiding preventable New Jersey medical malpractice instances.
