Double standard infringes on consumer rights
Families frustrated with a Wisconsin medical malpractice loophole have sent representatives of the group Family Justice Network to speak out in supports of a bill in the State Senate. As Wisconsin law currently stands, parents are unable to sue for medical malpractice for their adult children and adults are unable to sue for their single parents. Senate Bill 187 has been in the Senate Judiciary Committee for some time, which would allow proper accountability for medical malpractices to exist.
